Which seems about appropriate.
I really hate it when characters act like idiots for the sake of Plot! and Drama!, and there was way too much of that going on in this episode. Husband and I were both wondering why the hell Lestrade wasn't waiting at the last bust guy's house as well with several dozen police officers, since he clearly figured out the connection between the burglary/murder victims and Sherlock told him the last name of the final guy.
Any of my lingering like for this show has been coming from Mary's awesomeness and John's adhesion to his very particular moral code, soooo...yeah. And I am terrified of the next two episodes because I am looking at Bus Girl and hearing Moriarty's accent and hoping against hope that this time it really is fraternal twins, because fuck Gatiss if he pulls some sort of "She was really a villainous man the whole time!" transphobic bullshit.
I'm sure we will watch the rest of this season, but I will not feel guilty about multitasking during the last two episodes at this point.
