Stitch in time

korafoxGiving that new show Stitchers a try. Three and a half episodes in, here are my first impressions.
The girls in this show are awesome and I wish the boys would stop crashing their awesome parade. I need to look up whether this was written by a dude or not, because sometimes I really can't tell whether the show is criticizing their awful behavior or not.
Examples: Main Science Bro's first interaction with the lead woman was literally "I'm not impressed by your phD science program creds, tell me who played all the Doctors since 1960 or STFU." She somehow managed not to slug him.
Later on, Main Science Bro and his buddy Secondary Science Bro told the women, in complete seriousness, that ladies don't have the capacity to set up a high-end stereo system on their own. I'm not sure how this didn't end in actual bloodshed.
On the plus side, the women pretty much roll their eyes, sigh, and continue to be self-determined badasses. I just wish the fictional TV show had a little less of real-world casual douchebaggery by the guys.
The main character is so Weaver it hurts (explicitly doesn't grok emotions and hasn't done so her whole life), which is one of the things I am enjoying about the show. It's a very unusual thing to see in a (female) character, and while the others are somewhat perplexed by her I haven't noticed any shaming about it. I'm still not entirely sure why this non-emotionality comes from her disorder that makes her unable to sense the flow of time. It also bugs me slightly that the wardrobe people don't make sure the character is wearing a watch in every scene. Wouldn't that be a no-brainer when you have to use external clues to tell how much time has passed?
Will keep watching for interesting premise and awesome ladies, though if the boys continue to be jerks and don't learn from their mistakes I may have to nope out.
