Monday wasn't supposed to be like this.

korafoxSuffering from a desperate lack of motivation today. Usually I come off the weekend ready to get stuff done, but not today for some reason.
Today's goal: I will get more done than the absolute minimum.
I think all the wedding preparations are just starting to wear on me. We're two and a half months out now, and we are on top of things, but most of what's left are the things that set off my anxiety the worst: reception favors, seating chart, gifts for parents, and of course the bridal shower. All the items that make me worry constantly about somehow slighting the other people involved, the vast majority of whom are coming from out of state (and halfway across the country in my family's case) to be here for our day. And I would really like to make sure everyone has a good time and feels like the trip was worth it.
Positive item #1: Got my dress back from alterations and it fits and looks amazing!
Positive item #2: We have the most awesome cake topper ever. I don't care if it doesn't really have much to do with the rest of our decor or if anyone but a couple people understands the reference; it's letting us incorporate something that's really special to the two of us somewhere into the wedding. The fiance has said that he wants to keep the topper a secret until the reception so I can't say much more about it. ; )
Time now to begin the slog. Wish me luck.
