Oct. 28th, 2006 12:41 amOoooh goodness. *puts up her tired feet*
Gaming club actually turned out quite well...I think everyone had a lot of fun (and I am very glad I bought that extra bag of candy! We had run through it all by 10:30!). At first I thought it would be a disaster, as the cords that go from my playstation to my television don't really work when trying to hook it up to something that doesn't have five bajillion input jacks. Thankfully Dane went and got his cords, and we were able to get it working. Also, Matt from anime club (who I haven't seen in a while) showed up, and he brought Zombies (a hillarious semi-board-game). Tim showed up for a while as well! I have not seen him since the beginning of the school year...I miss his company quite a bit. It seems like he has been dealing with a lot of personal issues...I hope he can find peace of mind in all that. Because really, he's a very intelligent and funny person and he should be happy.
I also finally wore my cloak in public tonight, though only for a few minutes as it was extremely warm even without it. It's really wonderful to wear, although we desperately need to hem it up (it's not quite done yet). I was tripping all over the thing, which is another reason I had to take it off. But I just love the fabric, it is emerald green crushed velvet on one side and a deep, rich blue on the other. And it is reversible, so I can wear it with different outfits.
So excited...I am going home tomorrow, which means I get to see my new computer! This laptop has been with me for a good long while....I got it the summer before I went to high school, which puts it at about five and a half years old. It's working fine, just very very slowly. And my new desktop is pretty much state-of-the-art, so I'll be able to art on it so much more quickly. (not to mention I can play some games which this laptop is too slow to run!)
So it's off to bed now. Must be up bright and early to go canvassing for our local Democratic candidate.
*excited-ness for the election almost being here!*
Goodnight~
