But I must admit, painting is very therapeutic. Makes me glad that I picked it for my concentration. I'm certain if I had to slog through massive amounts of printmaking or ceramic work, I would not survive these four years. But listening to my wonderful celtic music, and painting the canvas with serene and elegant imagery....it does not seem like work at all to me. Tonight I just about completed an entire painting; it has the most gorgeous greens and blues. I need to charge up my digital camera so I can take a picture of it and post it here.
The weather remains stubbornly convinced that it is still February. Well, in another week it won't have any more excuses and can hopefully get on with this spring business. Can't wait for all the campus flowers to start blooming...I was surprised last year at all the different kinds we have here. Especially these wonderful little blue flowers that came up all over the grass before any of the others...and of course, I'm looking forward to the lilac bushes right outside the dorm building to come into flower! ; ) Although that won't be until May, I'm sure. Lilacs always bloom when it's time to leave a place...
