Today must be Murphy day

I swear, everything that can go wrong has gone wrong today.  I've dropped every manner of foodstuff imaginable on the kitchen floor.  There were bugs in the rice bag (which contributed to dropping food on the floor).  The tub of spackle was dried out, though luckily I already had to go to the hardware store.  And I managed to get the washing machine unbalanced several times, which meant that washing the bedthings took the entire damned day. 

At least Husband helped me put my desk back together after he got home from soccer reffing.  The desk top was much too heavy for me to carry back upstairs by myself, and we ended up having to put the thing together upside-down to get all the doodads to line up.  The rest, though, the bookcases and art supplies, I should be able to move in and put away myself tomorrow.

And then Inktober.
