I have learned how to Bake My Own Bread. *ecstasy*
In honor of the fall equinox, I tried my hand at making an apple-raisin-granola bread. Really, really wish I could have found some whole wheat flour to make this with, but I'm not sure it even exists in this country. So I looked at a bunch of bread recipes, and then went into the kitchen and started tossing ingredients together. This is just the way I cook--I don't seem to get along with exact measurements that well. So I just made sure I put in approximate amounts of all the necessaries.
Further complications: I have no oven. These do not exist in Japanese homes. So I made toaster-bread. And it is delicious! Tangy sweet apple bits inside bread of just the right consistency....ah, it's great. And I'm going to have plenty of it for the next few days.
